Mad World A1 Pulsedriver Remix
For a year or two now I’ve been lightly into Techno / Electronica, mostly expressed by listening to DI.FM’s Vocal Trance channel, and lately by scouring Hybridized for mixes.
This of course fits very neatly that with the fact that my college buddy, Dave Cross, is a DJ and all around good guy. Dave helped me dig up a single for a the title track of this post using Gemm, from a music store in Germany. To put this in perspective, I once setup a streamripper on my powerbook, and ripped DI’s stream while I listened in the hopes of catching this song. In roughly 9 months, I never succeeded.
Ain’t the ‘net a beautiful thing? My college friend, living in NYC, helped me, living in Boston, buy a track I discovered on DI.FM from a guy in Germany (in about 10-15 minutes, no less, when my previous searches were hour-long and completely futile). Now I just have to wait a week or two for it to make the Atlantic crossing.
