Random updates
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, and there hasn’t been any major goings-on as of late, but a few minor ones. In vaguely chronological order:
- Passover was last week - Dori and I managed to hit 3 sedars in 4 nights. It was a mad house with the hagaddahs.
- June, Alan, and Lily came into the city last Friday to visit. We went to the Central Park Zoo and everyone had a really great time!
- Dori and I went to Pat’s for brunch on Sunday, and had a nice time.
- I managed to get sick and have had a low fever for the early part of this week. I’m mostly better now, but not entirely.
- We’re going up to Boston this weekend to look at more apartments. Hopefully the trip won’t make me sicker.
- We’re looking to go away for Memorial Day, possibly to Jamaica or Puerto Rico. We have about $300 in continental vouchers that we need to use sometime before the end of the year.
- In GeekISP news, my gigabit upgrades are almost complete, I’ve got a new server that’s ready to go into action, and I finally got PostgreSQL to start using some normal amounts of RAM (shared buffers were set too low).
