VB scare
On Friday we had a bit of a scare with Dori’s grandpa, Victor. We got a call from her uncle Phil at around 9:15AM saying that he had a really bad night, and the doctor thought that he was “closing in on the end”. We rushed over to the rehab center where he is currently to visit. We ended up staying for a large chunk of the day alongside the rest of her family.
Fortunately Victor is a real fighter, and he wasn’t planning on going anywhere. Jon put it aptly when he said that Victor really perked up when he saw the rabbi - as if to say “whoa there, sorry to inconvenience you, but today’s not the day!”
