I recently discovered GRAMPS, an open source genealogy program. Apparently there are a ton of GEDCOM (genealogy db format) readers available in web-app form, but not many writers, so I’m trying to build this. It requires gnome, and since I don’t use unix as my actual desktop OS, I’ll be building in on my 400mhz G3 powerbook.

Started late Thursday, some more Friday, and I’ll resume Monday. With luck by next weekend I’ll be able to use it!
