Genealogy, a spark for another project…
With the passing of my grandmother, I’ve observed my passing interest in my family history take on a sort of new light, more as something about preserving a living memory. I mean, there are people in my family who are not too distantly related, yet I have no idea who they are (well I have a couple names), where they live, or whatever.
Maybe its just because I’m a curious person.
Either way, I’ve collected a few notes just from talking to my Dad on last Thursday evening after dinner. No idea how to organize them yet, or if I even will (though I think probably), but I imagine that there must be some software that can vaguely guide me through the process. Guess I’ll heap this onto the pile of projects I keep running.
